- Hydroxycut Hardcore RTDs (Ready-to-Drink)
- Hydroxycut Max Aqua Shed
- Hydroxycut 24
- Hydroxycut Carb Control
- Hydroxycut Natural
This recall, issued by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and Hydroxycut manufacturer Iovate Health Sciences, occurred after the supplement was linked to a number of major medical conditions, especially liver failure. Hydroxycut is sold in the United States without ephedra, since that ingredient was banned in 2004, but the liver problems that were thought to be caused by ephedra have continued with new patients.
